Baader 1.25″ Filter Holder for T-2 and 2″ Filter Thread Accessories.

This Double T-Filter holder accepts common 1¼” filters and, for example, the Q-Barlow lens (please note that this Barlow can only be screwed in about a quarter turn due to technical production characteristics).

When combined with the T-2 Conversion Ring #2958110, you get a filter holder that can be screwed between any two T-2 parts and has an overall length of 10 mm.

It sits flush with 3 mm long T-2 threads; for parts with 5 mm long threads, a T-2 Fine-Adjustment ring 1mm (gold) – Aluminium #2457913 is also included so that all components sit flush against each other. This allows 1.25″ filters or Barlow lenses/reducers with standard 1¼” filter threads to be permanently inserted even in front of accessories that are screwed to the telescope via T-2 threads to prevent them from tilting – be it heavy eyepieces, cameras with filter wheels or an ADC. The distance from the filter/barlow to the camera/eyepiece can also be changed a little by installing the filter holder facing one side or the other to the telescope.

With the Expanding Ring T-2f / M48m #2458110, the adapter can also be used in any 2″ filter thread. Although this leads to vignetting on long focal length wide-angle eyepieces, it allows, for example, the use of a 1.25″ filter (or a Blaze grating) on 2″ eyepieces or on cameras with a fixed 2″ filter thread (and a sufficiently small sensor) on which the Baader 1¼” / T-2 plug-in connection with Safety Kerfs # 2458106 cannot be used or if a screw connection to the telescope is preferred.
