CNC machined Aluminium body weighing only 400g and only 20mm thick!

A reliable, quality electronic filter wheel makes automating your setup and switching filters easy.

FEATURES

Supports 8x 1.25" mounted filters or 8x 31mm unmounted filters.
Quality stepper motor.
Rotates in both directions for faster filter selection
A CNC-machined body from a block of aircraft-grade aluminium enables a very slim 20mm design.
Powered by USB - max consumption around 120ma@5v
ASCOM driver

When connected to the ASI1600, the filter-to-sensor distance is around 10mm. You can use 1.25" filters without vignetting up to f/5 or 31mm filters up to f/2.

Includes M2 screws and washers required for fixing unmounted 31mm filters.

Important Note: 1.25" filters require threads shorter than 3mm, and the height without threads must be less than 7mm.

I'm using this filter wheel for last two years in conjunction with ZWO cameras and ASIAIR. I have never had any issues with it. Great product. Also I've mixed filters ZWO and Baader for those who are wondering if you can install anything else apart from ZWO products

Needed 7 position filter wheel as I've upgraded from LRGB to set of Baader LRGB+narrowband filters.
This wheel does what it says on the tin - connected to my Windows 10 + Astrophotography Tools software first time - no drivers needed.
Took the Baader filters (standard height 7-8.5nm set of narrowband filters) easily without obstruction.
Runs on USB 2.0 cable but I've connected this to my USB hub which goes into USB 3.0 port on laptop and works fine.
Important to read the instructions on Baader website on which way around the filter holder goes and FLO would improve their description on adding on their website this information so putchasers don't need to go looking for it - the filter wheel needs to be directed so that threads in the filters face towards the camera not telescope.

Very well made product providing the closest distance from filters to camera sensor to reduce vignetting with 1.25" filters and the ZWO ASI1600MM-Cool camera. This can be eliminated with Flats. NOTE :- This filter wheel accommodates Astrodon 1.25" mounted filters without any problem contrary to some reports. I am very happy with it.

I have the 8 filters option and use it plugged in to ZWO 1600MM Pro hub. Works with all apps I used so far via ASCOM driver.

Got one of these to use with my ASI1600mm pro and it is a great bit of kit. My 1.25 inch mounted Astrodon Filters do fit in this despite being 7.5 mm thick and the stated max for the wheel being 7 mm....but only by a fraction of a mm, the tolerances would not have to be far out to cause a problem.
