Had the Sky-Watcher 120 set up on my Celestron A VX mount for over a week, and itching to put it through it's paces, but typically, the weather wasn't playing ball! A good break in the clouds last night gave me the first opportunity to try it out. Targets were Venus, followed by Saturn and then Jupiter. Saturn is a little disappointing just now as we see the rings perfectly 'edge-on', but still impressive viewing. Jupiter through this 'scope is probably the best I've seen it, very clear views of it's bands and 3 of it's 4 bright moons. So, thus far, I'm liking this refractor.
Only gripe is the focuser, which I find is quite wobbly in its sleeve, even after some adjustment, so at higher magnifications (well just 125X actually), whilst focusing, the image can shift from side to side. I'll be looking to upgrade this to a nice dual speed Crayford in the not too distant future, and I'm thinking that this OTA will then be extremely good

A large but light scope that sits very well on my EQ5 mount.Views of the moon and planets are stunning with detail. The focuser is light and easy to use,and imaging the moon with my DSRL was a dream, showing a lot of detail.
This is much better than my old Startravel 150 on both planets and deep sky.An impressive scope for the price.
