It is optimised for DSLR cameras and telescopes with f/5-f/7 focal ratios.
It will also work well with telescope focal lengths narrowly outside this optimised f/range if using an astronomy camera with a smaller sensor.
Fully multi-coated optics fitted into a CNC machined body with a gloss black anodised finish.
Removing the 2" nosepiece reveals M54 female thread for direct screw-on connection.

Stellamira 0.8x Reducer Flattener 08 November 2024 | Rishabh
I am using this with my Stellarvue Svr90t Raptor F7 refractor and i am very pleased with the result. Stars are round till the edges with the 294 sensor. Loving it. It is a replacement for Stellarvue R/F which performed well initially but something came loose and the lenses came out. Best part is this is 3 times cheaper than SV.
As usual, FLO is awesome. Fast shipping to India. Very happy overall.
Thank you FLO

I got to use the reducer for the first time last night with my SW72ED, and have to say I’m really impressed with it, the stars are perfectly round across the image, the nebulosity was clear and well defined, and no vignetting that I can see. I didn’t realise the FOV would be increased as much as it does, but no complaints there either. As always, 1st class service and response from FLO, ordered it, and a couple of hours later, it was dispatched. Yep, impressed.

Brought this for my sw 72 ed Good solid piece of kit that seems well made when used with the correct spacers it gave a nice extra field of view, a nice flat field across the image.

An affordable option for the 62ED 12 September 2022 | Chase
Purchased this is lieu of the more expensive dedicated flattener from skywatcher to attach a DSLR to my Evolux 62ed
Had to wait a week to try it out and haven't really given it a full first light try as of yet but initial checks on the moon and Jupiter through a break in the clouds show I'm able to achieve prime focus with no obvious aberration or distortion in the field of view with my M42 t ring adapter (no spacing required) very happy bunny so far!
The real MVP is Chris at FLO though who guided me through all my questions and is a real expert in his field. Thank you so much for that.
Once better skies hit the UK I'll come back to this review on the flattener itself.

Got it in Aug 2020 after FLO recommended for use with 72 ED Skywatcher. Works well enough and flattens flied right to the end of my APSC sensor. But did need a 1mm spacer.
Knocked of one star as it introduced a slight tilt in the field, not too bad but noticeable. Would not be a problem on a CCD camera, but is not fixable when using a dslr. FLO suggested I tweak the focuser to fix the issue.

Haven't had much chance to use it to give a fair review but FLO as always very quick to dispatch.
