This useful 0.8x Reducer / Field Flattener enables DSLR astrophotography with most f/5-f/7 refractor telescopes.

It is optimised for DSLR cameras and telescopes with f/5-f/7 focal ratios.

It will also work well with telescope focal lengths narrowly outside this optimised f/range if using an astronomy camera with a smaller sensor.

Identical to our M42 model but features an integral M48 adaptor thread that can be swapped for an optional M42 adapter.

Fully multi-coated optics fitted into a CNC machined body with a gloss black anodised finish.

Removing the 2" nosepiece reveals M54 female thread for direct screw-on connection.

Suitable for focal ratios around f/5 - f/7.

The 2" nosepiece is tapered for safety and accepts 2" astronomy filters.

Works excellent, no issues and easy to install , shipping was not best, however considering it shipped from the UK to Canada , I can understand de delay

Due to the ever constant clouds these days I have not been able to use the StellaMira 2”. 0.8x Reducer /Field Flattener, but the quality of manufacturing of the item leads me to think it is going to be a very good purchase , as usual FLO delivered the item with speed and efficiency.

Nicely fabricated piece of kit, especially given the price point. Too busy to use it, but it feels reassuringly well built, which is something I suppose... As ever, dealing with FLO is probably the best online shopping experience a man-child could possibly ask for

StellaMira 2" 0.8x Reducer Flattener

The StellaMira, for a Budget product is an Excellent Choice for people on a tight budget if you have a short focal length refractor.
I have used it with both my Canon DSLR and my ZWO ASI 533 MC pro. It produces great neutral colour results in combination with my William Optics Zenithstar 73II
