Acuter Solarus 80 Solar Telescope
The Acuter Elite Phoenix 40 offers a surprisingly high specification and performance at its price!
The Acuter Elite Phoenix 40 is a safe solar telescope with a 40mm aperture front-mounted Etalon for observing active solar prominences and other solar details in the H-alpha band. It performs at 0.6 Angstrom or better.
When viewing the Sun in the narrow H-alpha bandwidth, the observer is rewarded with awe-inspiring real-time views of our nearest star, revealing details such as solar flares, prominences, spicules, surface granularity, sun spots and more!
It is supplied with a universal smartphone camera adaptor, so you can take photos using your smartphone to keep a photographic record of your observations.
The Acuter Elite Phoenix 40 conforms to and meets the transmission requirements of ISO 12312-2:2015 (filters for the direct observation of the Sun). Always use in accordance with the instructions.
