Sky-Watcher multi-function eyepiece with laser-etched, double-line crosshair reticle and a built-in battery-powered red led illuminator.

Most commonly used for:

  • Manual guiding whilst imaging
  • Drift aligning to achieve a more accurate polar alignment which enables longer exposure times without autoguiding
  • Achieving perfect centring of GOTO alignment stars for enhanced GOTO accuracy

The eyepiece is 12.5mm, multi-coated Plossl with 40° AFOV. 

Supplied with a battery.

Excellent piece of kit, does what it says on the box.

Cannot see a double red line when led is turned on.
Ypu see many lines.
Perhaps I got a faulty item anyway returned to FLO.

I found this useful to improve goto accuracy of my AZ-GTi.
Does exactly whats on the tin - no need to spend more. Brightness and focus can be adjusted to suit.

This eyepiece appears to be well constructed from good materials and does the job of centering the target perfectly. The reticle is clear and well defined with a variable brightness and an on/off switch. The sharpness of the reticle is adjustable, which is great. In fact, I found that it is possible to de-focus the reticle to such an extent that it becomes pretty much invisible at night, giving you a 'reticle free' 12.5mm eyepiece.
