Very happy with this tripod, much sturdier than the aluminium tripod supplied with the telescope (which broke, if you have one of these check the plastic links at the top of each leg for cracks as you don't want your scope falling to the ground!) I am pleased with the stability that this tripod provides for my Stella-Lyra Mount (Sky-T2 type). These tripods have proved themselves over the years and the quality has remain excellent I do recommend this tripod and FLO for prompt service and delivery.

As a beginner I was struggling to get a good view of anything through my SW EQ3-2/150P, principally due to the shakiness of the mount. After a problem with one of the original tripod legs I bought this tripod with the help and advice from of the team at FLO and it has transformed my EQ3-2 mount. It's a straight swap for the original tripod and the setup has become far more stable. Now I can see!

I purchased this tripod to go with the Sky-Tee 2 Mount that was also purchased as FLO only had the mount in stock, it was a lot more sturdier and seemed better suited for heavier loads. The EQ mount tripod I had was a lot smaller with thinner diameter legs what surprised me was the size and weight compared to my other tripod which could easily fit under this one with the accessory tray fitted.
Very sturdy and well worth purchasing, if you are thinking of upgrading or getting a new tripod I'd go for this as a minimum but whichever mount you decide to get check with FLO for compatibility.

Not enough stars to give FLO as there service and support is second to none when it comes to sales and service, always respond quickly and they come fully recommended.

I bought one of these to use with my SKYTEE AZ/EL mount. It's a chunky piece of kit but the one I got had a cast azimuth pin rather than a removeable pin. While the large integral cast metal azimuth pin works perfectly fine for my Skytee mount it obviously can't be removed to allow the tripod to work with other mounts I own. It's just something to be aware of. Not really what I thought I was ordering. It's a good piece of kit though, especially for use with the SKYTEE.

Got this for my heq5 pro mount. It has the piece that sticks out so you can adjust the left and right of the mount to polar align correctly. No adapter plate needed.

Rock solid when deployed and unimaginable strength and stability. If you need the strongest mount tripod, this is the REAL thing.

Not so heavy to be a problem, but strong, steady and well made. IMHO good value for money. And the usually splendid service from FLO.

I had a half decent camera mount but I knew it was going to be a struggle with my new scope for imaging. This thing really does the job and I can reuse the camera mount for my binoculars.
