Simply wrap one around the telescope tube near the optics and secure it there with its integrated Velcro/elastic strap. A gentle heat is then transferred to the optics until the temperature is slightly warmer than the dew point.
This heater strap is 20cm long, please check the circumference of your eyepiece or finderscope first to ensure this will provide a good fit.

Fits my 50mm finder/guider perfectly and plugged into and controlled by my Pegasus ppba heats up almost immediately. I also have one of these around my main scope and would not be without them now.

Perfect fit for my ED50.

Bought this to fit my SkyWatcher EvoGuide 50, fits very well. The Velcro also is elasticated so easy to keep tight to the scope. I power this via one of the power outlets on my ASI AIR, for which you also need the small adapter cable. Great service as always.

Good quality dew heater for keeping dew at bay in colder weather. Highly recommended.

I have no problems with this unit and am hopeful that it will stave off the dew problem efficiently. Great advice and service from FLO, as always.
Lynx 20cm dew heater band 08 October 2022 | Ian
Well made band, with a decent length of silicone cable that remains flexible in even minus temperatures. I use this for my eyepieces to ensure that they remain clear regardless of the dew or cold.

Good quality. Great for my guide camera. FLO customer service 1st class.
Wouldn't be without these 09 December 2021 | Tony
It wasn't long ago that I purchased by first telescope for astrophotography. Despite the endless weeks of cloudy nights that came with the delivery of my scope (FLO, please stop putting clouds in the boxes!), I remember the growing excitement at the prospect of capturing my first target. After spending a couple of precious hours setting things up, image the disappointment when peering into the scope and seeing all that condensation knowing that the night is lost and another 3 weeks of clouds before the next opportunity presents itself! Never again.
I have purchased a number of Lynx Astro dew straps for the main scope and the guide scope and haven't had a problem with them at all. The shorter length straps do seem to warm up more quickly than the longer straps and so some experimentation on how much heating power is needed may be useful. I use mine with an ASI-AIR pro which has some basic power control and that suits me.
Perhaps the only niggle is the need for an additional adapter cable for the ASI-Air (available from FLO) but apart from that, I'll never be without these again.

Usual Boring First Class Service (Yawn) 01 February 2021 | Gary
Brilliant service as ever from FLO, from communication regarding stock, to superfast delivery, even now when many businesses are struggling to maintain their usual offer. Very knowledgable staff and a first class experience from start to finish. Highly recommended. The Lynx heater straps are of high quality and do exactly what it says on the tin.
