A useful premium quality cable that connects one dew-heater tape to a 12V DC portable power-pack or other suitable power supply. 

Includes a Power LED on the cigarette-lighter plug and 5A safety fuse located in the silver nose-piece.

Cable length 2m.

Compatible with all good dew-heater tapes, including Astrozap and Kendrick. 

Please note: A heater-tape connected directly to a suitable 12V power-supply is running on full-power. This won't harm the tape but with smaller apertures it might result in the optic being warmer than is necessary which can effect the view and waste energy. The alternative is to use a controller such as this one from HitecAtro.

  • Over-spec' 12 amp rated silicone cable remains soft and flexible, even at sub-zero temperatures, so is less likely to twist and tangle like cheap alternatives.
  • High quality cigar-lighter plug with red power indicator and cable-restraint to prevent damage. 
  • Cigar-lighter plug rated to 5 amp, fitted with a 5 amp fast-blow fuse.
  • RCA Jacks have over-long heat-shrink sleeving applied for additional protection against dew and damp
  • Every lead individually tested for electrical continuity, shorts and power load during manufacture.

This is a well made 12V cigarette to phono lead. It powers my astrozap dewshield perfectly and it heats up fast.
