Just recieved scope yesterday, super fast delivery thank-you FLO.Bought for my 6 year old daughters birthday. Took it out last night to test and managed to see and video Jupiter and its 4 moons very clearly. Could not distunguish any details on jupiter but I didn't use the included barlow, and felt no need as was impressed with just seeing the bright planet and it's moons! This scope will have it's limitations, but the build quality feels superb I spent a lot of time researching scopes for my daughter and am more than happy with my choice.I do however already own a tracking, fairly heavy duty tripod mount which I will be able to use with the scope also so that will only add to it's ability!I suspect my daughter will still require my help and guidance in it's use, but I bought a 'non toy' scope for that purpose, for us to do this together.Again many thanks, and best price on net!
Our first scope, and we are more than happy with it, poor weather so far, but when able, we have had good results, an ideal starter scope. Easy to use, set up and go in 5 minutes.
I initially bought this telescope for my 10yr old son, who had shown a great interest in space and the stars. After much research the Heritage 100 had some of the best reviews as a good place for beginners to start stargazing. We’ve only managed to use the telescope once or twice but it has amazed my son and myself each time, so much so that it has rekindled my own interest.I’m sure I’ll be contacting FLO again in the very near future.
