An excellent telescope for a new astronomer or someone wanting to add a grab-and-go scope to their collection.
Whether you’re an experienced amateur astronomer or a brand-new stargazer, this convenient, portable telescope is always ready to deliver impressive, detailed night sky views.
Parabolic Primary Mirror
The Zhumell Z114 Portable Reflector Telescope features a 114mm collimateable parabolic primary mirror, a high-end feature not usually found in telescopes of this type and size. The parabolic mirror significantly reduces visual defects like spherical aberration, providing noticeably sharper views.
The primary and secondary mirrors are coated with a high-reflectivity aluminium coating for high reflectivity. You can count on more than 90% light transmission for brighter views of even dim objects like nebulae.
You’ll also get two fully coated eyepieces: a 1.25” 17mm eyepiece for wide field views and a 1.25” 10mm eyepiece for higher magnification.
The Tabletop Dobsonian that goes everywhere
The Z114’s durable design will withstand years of use and travel. Thanks to its compact size and weight, you can confidently pack it for camping trips, holidays, and more.
When you arrive at your observing site, the telescope can be set up for use in seconds. Once you’re set-up, swing the scope on its lazy susan-style mount toward your desired object. Centre your target in the Red Dot Finderscope, and you’re ready to view it through the eyepiece. Then, make small adjustments to smoothly track objects as they drift across the sky.

I have owned a Zhumell Z114 for several months. I have used it under both dark skies and suburban light pollution. The Moon looks great: the serpentine ridge, the straight wall, the dark shadow cast by Mt. Piton. There is no limit to lunar exploration with this scope. Two of Jupiter's equatorial belts are visible as well as Saturn's ring and it's Moon Titan. The Z114 opens up a world of deep sky viewing. With it I have observed the Ring Nebula and the Dumbbell, the Wild Duck Cluster and the Owl Cluster. The double cluster in Perseus was awesome. The two included eyepieces are keepers. Two recommended accessories would be a collimation cap and a Barlow lens. Of course, a stable surface to set up upon is necessary. I have used an 18 inch-high cold drink cooler with a homemade plywood top for a sturdy base. This is a great telescope for beginners, families or as a grab and go for experienced observers. So easy to use!
