About this product

This compact tabletop Dobsonian is an excellent first telescope for a youngster starting astronomy. 

The Celestron Cometron is an upgraded version of Celestron's hugely popular Firstscope 76. 

This special edition model features the same Newtonian optics but is supplied with an optical finderscope and higher quality Kellner eyepieces. 

Point it at the Moon, and you will see craters. That alone will provide a ‘WOW’ moment for someone starting astronomy.

Jupiter and its four brightest moons are also visible, as are Saturn's rings. Even under a light-polluted sky! If you are fortunate enough to live under a dark sky, the brighter star clusters, nebulae, and even galaxies are also within reach.
