Lightweight, a bit fiddly or imprecise focusing 09 February 2024 | Andreas
Very light, with rigid low profile mounting. Had this screw mounted to an extra long vixen bar for my 115mm f/7 refractor.
Biggest challenge with this is getting the camera in focus. You can move the camera, or you can use the threads and locking ring that hold the front lens element. Both are quite fiddly, and locking either tends to shift the focus due to loose tolerances. It would normally hold focus fine, but sometimes you get reasons to double check the focus while in a session. I have since changed to another guidescope with helical focuser for this reason.

I bought this to use with my Redcat 51
It is well-built, has a quality finish (which perfectly matches the Redcat) and is super-easy to focus.
Within minutes of setting up I was guiding at 0.4 using the ASIAIR Plus…
If you are looking for a solid, efficient Guidescope with an aperture around 30mm then I thoroughly recommend this product.
Good solid Williams Optics kit 02 March 2023 | Michael
Very light weight, and the short focal length gives a good field of view.
Its a good solid connection to the finder shoe - no messing with fiddly adjustment screws is a bonus.
The shoe is fine on the Williams Optics handle and others but does not fit a Stellalyra shoe.
Pretty easy to focus. Over all a good piece of kit

perhaps a little expensive but its a perfect match with my zs73. It attaches firmly to the 73 handle ,no fussing with tube rings. With this attached to my scope along with cameras and dew heater and asiair i can lift the whole assemly out of the case ready to use.

Excellent little guide scope, typical WO quality and the usual great service from FLO.
It works for auto-guiding. 27 April 2022 | Jim
Well packaged. High quality look and feel. I could not reach focus with my Altair GPCAM3 178C using my 42mm threaded adapter, but all was fine using the compression ring option on the camera barrel. I have only had one session autoguiding so far but it worked as described. I'm very pleased with this. Is is compact, inexpensive and it works.

As per my review of the ZWO Asi120mm, I've been unable to to test this out on the field for guiding, but having set it up on the kitchen table test bench allows my to say it seems a very solid piece of kit. I'll update as and when I'm able to operate out in the field.

Ordered from India & received on the 4th day! The service by FLO and their delivery partner was beyond amazing! This is a wonderful little guide scope by WO. I love how they've provided a graduated index. It tells me right away where I need to be to focus different guide cams. The finish is great, you can feel the quality when you hold it. It sits on the CAT Saddle of my RedCat perfectly. On the whole, the setup looks amazing in red!

Great little guide scope that matches up with the Redcat perfectly in terms of focal length and colour. Light and easy to use and is the perfect option with my Ioptron Skyguider Pro. 4 minute sharp exposures are now routinely achievable (well on the 2 sessions I’ve had using it!).

There are not many reviews on this I guess many just buy the ZWO guidescope. It is really well made and works well with my ASI290 connected to the ASIAIR pro. It also fits perfectly in the Redcat padded case without cutting the foam. It’s light enough to work on my Star Aventurer with the standard counterweight and it’s very easy to set up.
