The handle has provided me with extra security when mounting my 125mm refractor onto the EQ head. The handle is easy to grip, and is solid and secure, as it bolts directly to the top of the tube rings. It has made handling the scope much, much easier.

Am very fortunate to own a 125ED doublet scope; a perfect blend of carry'ability and aperture. However the scope was not supplied with any form of carry handle, which lead to some interesting, (as in oh sh*t I nearly dropped it) times, when mounting and unmounting the scope, especially at the end of a long night with cold hands! The William Optics 243mm saddle handle is a perfect fit, and bolts securely with the included bolts onto the top of the tube rings. The handle is very well made and finished. The additional weight will not affect the balance by much on the mount as it's fairly central At £79 it's not cheap, but a worthwhile investment, I think for the additional security in the dark and cold at the end of an observing session!
