Well machined and fits well. I now have both a red dot finder and an optical finder on my telescope. Much easier than other approaches. Just hake sure the screws are tight.
Originally Great but found some issues 10 September 2021 | Tom
I have had this Multi finder for about 4 years now but I have found that with my Altair Astro 50mm Guide scope, the screws aren't long enough to tighten it down unless I use the top most adapter choice, this means I can only use the top most finder adapter to mount my scope as it was the only section that the screws went in far enough to actually grip the guide scope hot shoe bar. This is rather irritating as it leaves me with no options other than that on place. I also find that the two side screws bottoms out and wont go in any further as the thumb screw makes contact with the metal chunk. It was a good idea, just didn't work well for my application.
Response:
This sounds like a tolerance issue with the dovetail base on your guide scope as we've not encountered this on the many finders we have tried. One option may be to replace the standard thumbscrews with longer ones.

All metal product. Very sturdy construction. Screws are reliable. Single image on website failed to show the bottom/ fixing method of finder.

Really handy adapter. Worked perfectly for mounting my guide scope and asi air pro on my telescope with one extra slot to spare. Great little gadget at a good price.

This fitted my needs, I wanted to fit a finder scope next to my guide scope. But put them on top of one another, seemed so simple. Great idea

Very useful accessory for Dobsonian 26 April 2020 | Tim
I have a Skywatcher 200P Dob, and this is an excellent accessory for that. I can now use the standard straight-through finder to point the telescope at the required part of the sky, and then use a right angle correct-image finder for star hopping to the locate the desired object. I prefer to use a correct-image finder when possible since it saves on neck strain and preserves my sanity since everything is the "right way up".
The adapter seems a bit pricey for what it is, however it's well made and ultimately saves time and effort, so I'm sure that minor gripe won't bother me for long.

I didn't test the adapter yet, but i ordered it believing it is the right one, it is nice design and good material, i am sure it will do the job.

This item is nicely made and sturdy, whilst not being too heavy. Angles and spacing are good. Reasonable price and despite the long (as predicted by FLO) lead time it did arrive when expected.
