Astrodymium 2.5" Riser Blocks for Refractor Telescopes (Metric Hardware)

These risers lift your entire telescope 2.5" (64.80mm) above the dovetail bar, which as a result allows for the full rotation of the focuser, and the ability to balance the scope properly. 

Risers also prevent off-axis guiders & filter wheels from pressing against the ground when the scope is not being used. 

Note:

  • Intended for use on refractors with an aperture of ~85mm or smaller
  • Rated for use down to -25ºC (-13ºF) and up to 80ºC (176ºF) temperatures
  • Made from 3D printed PETG material

Compatibility is based on the type of thread your tube rings use. The majority of refractor rings use an M6 thread, but some brands such as Stellarvue and Sky-Watcher use a 1/4-20" imperial thread.

These are good!

These riser blocks are good and work for my system. They lift my telescope 60mm off my losmandy plate allowing me to utilise the space under the telescope to mount other gear onto the plate ie (rpi4, batteries, cable...etc). Theyre solid and when screwed in through the plate and to the tube rings dont shift. Two lengths of screws are provided which is just as well as i needed the longer ones. However the thread on the screws were slightly different to the thread on my rings so they were quite tight to screw in. Not quite sure of the thread spec on either but they seem fine. FLO delivered very quick and without issue. For the money these seem to be great value and are quite hard to find anywhere else including alternatives. I would buy these again if needed.

These are really nicely engineered and very sturdy. The bolts that came with them were the perfect length, so no mucking around trying to buy bolts etc.
