Optically very good, build quality very good. Some very nice touches like three grub screws to hold in the eyepiece, even the micro focus is very useful, the only thing that lets it down slightly is because it is modular it keeps trying to unscrew itself, I will be adding loctite to the threads before next use. A really good upgrade from a cheap diagonal, every Baader product I have bought has not disappointed, seems to be a very good company

Noticeably upgrade visually from the stock mirror diagonal that came with my mak; I get a clearer view with improved contrast.
The helical focuser is a great upgrade as well. It's very easy to overshoot with the main focus knob moving the primary mirror on the mak.
I was constantly going back and forth, overshooting in either direction, and never quite sure if I was in the optimal position. That was my one frustration with this otherwise great little scope.
Now I just adjust the main focus until it's roughly in the right spot, and then do fine focus with the EP holder, which has much finer control and turns really smoothly. Can get focus spot on.
Baaders modular system is pretty nice too. Great quality throughout.
