These flat-field eyepieces were designed to provide ultra-sharp, ultra-clear, crisp views from the centre all the way to the edge of the field of view.
Features fully multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission.
Provides a generous 60° to 70° field of view (see specifications below).
Perfect for viewing planets, stars and the Moon’s surface.
Body
The Ultima Edge eyepiece’s main housing is machined from high grade aluminium with a black anodised outer surface.
Each eyepiece is internally threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters and adapters.
On the exterior of the eyepiece, you will find a uniquely designed, molded non-slip rubber grip for non-slip easy handling.
Comfortable for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers alike, thanks to the rubber eyecups and long eye relief.
Convenient Parfocal Design
Spend more time observing and less time focusing! When you buy more than one Ultima Edge eyepiece, you can switch between them with minimal refocusing thanks to their parfocal design. With a set of Ultima Edge eyepieces in your kit, you'll be able to enjoy a wide range of high and low power views, and switch between them quickly and easily.

I have this eyepiece, and it replaced a Tele Vue 35mm Panoptic.
The Celestron gives easy viewing, long eye relief showing a flat field and bright pinpoint stars edge to edge with excellent light transmission. It is not too heavy to require radical rebalancing moving to shorter focal length eyepieces.
For anyone who likes Baader Morpheus eyepieces, this 30mm gives the same immersive viewing experience, highly recommended. ☆☆☆☆☆

Bought this as upgrade to my existing eyepieces. Grim weather has prevented me from using it until now but I must say I'm so glad I decided to get this item. Lovely wide field of view and pin sharp focus across the whole field of view. The Double Cluster was spactacular! I felt like I was diving into a bucket of stars. Hyades and Pleiades were similarly spectacular. Can't wait to get out and use this again!! Needless to say all usual first class service from First Light Optics. This is a nice piece of kit.

Bought the 18mm eyepiece for my Skywatcher 200P. Amazing views of the planets, Jupiter and Saturn especially. Very good details of the Moon. Just need some clear nights to observe deep space. Great service and delivery from FLO as always. Very many thanks!
