Baader Double Polarising Filter

These double polarising filters can be rotated against each other to achieve a comfortable brightness level for Moon observations, independent of the Moon phase.

The double polarising filters form a single unit. They are always perfectly aligned and cannot be split-unit polarising filters into two single. (If they could be separated, one might then be tilted in relation to the other, which can cause reflections and degrade image quality).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OBSERVING THE SUN: Polarising and neutral density filters need additional filtering (for example, with a Herschel Prism or Astro Solar Safety Film) for observations of the sun. Using these without the appropriate additional safety equipment can cause damage to the these filters and your eyesight.
