Askar 52mm Super ED Guide Scope In Black

Askar 52mm Super ED Guide Scope features an SD glass lens for better colour aberration control.

With a limiting visual magnitude of 10.4, it can also be used as a compact, high-quality, rich-field telescope.

With a 249mm focal length and a fast f/4.8 focal ratio, the light grasp is 164% greater than that of regular 32mm Guidescopes.

The 52mm SD guide scope has a 1.25” adapter, an M42 threaded adapter, and two 40mm extension tubes.

The extension tubes and adapter are removable to accommodate different usage needs.

When using the 52mm SD guide scope with cameras, the CMOS position relative to the focal plane varies depending on the type of camera attached. The rear 1.25” adapter can be connected directly for precise guiding with a guiding camera. The M42 threaded adapter can be used to attach planetary or DSO cameras.

For visual observation, the user can remove the extension tube and attach the 1.25” adapter to use the corresponding size diagonal and eyepiece.

The 52mm SD guide scope has an XY-axis adjustable design, which facilitates adjusting it to be coaxial with the main imaging telescope, further enhancing the guiding accuracy.

Also included is a smooth helical focuser with 25mm of focuser travel.

The 52mm SD guide scope base is suitable for mounting in a universal finder slot. It also has a 1/4 threaded hole and an M4 threaded hole for easy attachment.

It is manufactured using high-quality CNC machining and is anodised in Black or Silver.
