Sky-Watcher M56 to M54 Adapter - To connect 80ED Reducer / Flattener to 72ED

This handy adapter enables you to directly attach a Sky-Watcher .85x Reducer/Flattener for Sky-Watcher 80ED to a Sky-Watcher 72ED.

Also handy if you ever lose the adapter from your 72ED reducer / flattener.

Note: The dedicated reducer / flattener for 72ED is the same as the one for 80ED but includes an extra adapter to enable it to fit to a 72ED. If you already have an 80ED reducer / flattener you can use this adapter to fit it to a 72ED.

Adds 8mm to backfocus

This is a good quality well manufactured item but a common complaint of adapter descriptions / specifications is they fail to give all the critical part dimensions, purchasers should be aware this item adds 8mm to the backfocus requirement which is in my mind is excessive for such a part, it could easily be manufactured to add no more than 2-3mm and still work perfectly, given the 72ED already has restricted backfocus it is a poor match for this scope and restricts the in-focus unnecessarily.
