Have tried this camera out on my little evoguide and works well, wasn't too difficult to get it focused, having read a few posts on stargazing lounge about doing it during daylight first. Looking forward to clear skies to do a proper test. Usual great service from FLO

Thanks F.L.O brilliant camera.
ZWO ASI 662mc added as another planetary camera. 05 October 2024 | Malcolm
Great service from FLO, as usual. I bought the ASI662mc to supplement my other old faithful ASI224mc (no longer available) for Lunar and planetary astrophotography. Although very similar, a slightly improved resolution, slightly wider field of view and smaller pixel size may help to improve the quality somewhat!! With our infamous weather conditions in the UK, I have been limited in user time but I'm sure all will be good when I eventually get to compare with the 224.

Super fast delivery from FLO as usual, Really pleased with the care taken on packaging, I have tried the camera on a far off telegraph pole using my Evolux 82ED and a UV/IR filter and the the picture looks great. Living in the North East of Scotland I now just have to wait till it gets dark at night to try this out on some planets.
Nice camera - shame about the lead 07 January 2024 | Andrew
Bought this little camera to have a go at planetary imaging and I have not been disappointed. Nice images of Jupiter and the Galilean moons and of Jupiter itself. Haven't tried Saturn yet at it is too far west at my location. It also has potential for some deep sky imaging and I will be trying that out in due course. The only drawback I found was the cable lacks flexibility and is too stiff but I don't think that should detract from the camera as a whole.
Thanks also to FLO for their legendary service.

Decided on this camera to get back into some planetary imaging. Suffice it to say that my first light trial yielded my best ever results on Saturn and Jupiter. Easy to use ASI software Suite as well. Service from FLO was, as ever, superb!

I got this as an upgrade to my Asi 120 mc for Mars opposition. I'm very glad i did. My equipment C8" Edge--2>5 Barlow Zwo 662mc UV/IR filter imagining with a 97% moon light close by and still got great dark continent colours on Mars.
I also captured 5 videos 30secs on the moon with superb results and Jupiter with and without the barlow. In my opinion the colours are richer than in the 120mc really noticeable on Jupiter, the bright bands more creamy and the Dark band darker. Mars beautiful rich red and very dark continent. The moon had a dark metal grey appearance. I hope to get out when the moonlight is less of an obstruction and really see what the camera is capable of.
Thanks Alex for this superb recommendation and to the Flo team for the speedily delivery. Package arrived super fast and in perfect condition as always.
