First light was a real delight. Relatively straightforward to set up, especially with a little extra guidance from the great team at FLO. It appears that the LRGB filters don’t have a ‘correct’ orientation but have not had a chance to prove this yet. The narrowband filters do have a right way to install them, and on my first attempt I managed to get a reasonable final image of NGC 7000. The OAG is easy to use and I quickly got it adjusted so it didn’t interfere with the main camera. I inadvertently ended up with an extra spacer between the OAG and filter wheel, but this made a bit more room for getting at all the locking nuts and clearance with the ASIAIR. Everything is well made and has a nice solid feel to it, filter wheel is almost silent and very smooth, similarly the camera cooling is also just a gentle purr.
