This is a high product, which fits exactly between my Canon DSLR and the William Optics flattener. There are cheaper, clone products out there, but in my experience they're not worth the risk.Excellent service and delivery from FLO as always.
Good adaptor.Really nice finish and a solid tight fit to both a Redcat and an old EOS600D.
When it says "High Precision" they aren't kidding! Unfortunately it was so precise that I couldn't thread it onto the William Optics 73A Flattener. It bound up after a half turn. Contacted the FLO guys and Alex gave me some tips to try to resolve it myself but when I wasn't able to he organised a DHL collection to return the flattener (as we thought that was the part at fault initially). When Andy @ FLO tried my flattener with another T Mount from stock that worked fine so turned out it was the T Mount. FLO returned the flattener and the new/working T Mount via DHL next day delivery and both are now happily waiting for the weather to improve so they can meet their new imaging buddies (Zenithstar 73 + Canon EOS 700D).Despite the slight hiccup with the first one, the T Mount is worth the extra money in my opinion. It may add a little to the weight of the imaging train but I'm confident it will give good results, when I can eventually use it that is.Kudos to the FLO team for resolving my issue quickly and without fuss. Special mention to Ann for keeping me informed the whole time. I just need to return the faulty T Mount (at no cost to me I add) when I can get to the post office.
Order before Christmas (not in stock) and delivered in March, with delivery complicated the Chinese New Year and then the virus issue I guess. FLO kept me up to date of progress, or lack of it, and kept the offer open of a full refund so I cannot fault the service. Although I haven't had chance to use it in anger with RedCat 51, it is ready to go. Not only does the T Mount look like a precision piece of engineering, when connected to the camera there is no perceptible slop in the interface. You get what you pay for. Is it over engineered? Perhaps, but that wouldn't stop me recommending it even if it was. It matches well with the precision optics of the RedCat.
