Dwarf II Features
Versatile to Take Shots of DSO, Birds and Animals
DWARF II is a compact smart telescope with dual cameras and AI power. You can take shots of deep-sky objects, such as galaxies and nebulae. Watch and record videos of birds and animals.
Easy to Control with Your Mobile Device
Connect your smartphone/tablet with DWARF II via WiFi, then wirelessly control DWARF II through the DWARFLAB App (available for Android & iOS) and take pictures/videos.
Note: Please ensure that your phone/tablet supports Bluetooth 4.0 & WiFi 5GHz
Dual Camera System
DWARF II has a wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera. Through the wide-angle camera, you can take pictures/videos like a regular camera or preview the field of view. You can find and centre the target using the wide-angle view, then use the telephoto camera to frame your target. The telephoto image is always near the centre of the wide-angle image.
Auto Star Tracking & Stacking for Astrophotography Effortlessly
Due to Earth’s rotation, the stars move slowly in the sky. DWARF II can automatically track the stars, rotating around the altitude and azimuth axes. DWARF II uses a field-rotation-correction algorithm to avoid field rotation. Then, you can use DWARF II to track deep-sky objects with long exposure times. Using multiple exposures with automatic registration, DWARF II stacks the images into a bright, clear picture.
AI-Powered Object Recognition and Tracking
Whether it's a bird or a ball player, DWARF II's neural network processing unit (NPU) automatically recognises and tracks the movement of your chosen subject. If the action slows down, you're one click away from zooming in for a closer look. The panoramic and telephoto lenses are always in sync, and the app enables one-click switching between them.
Ultra-Portable, Travel-Friendly
Weighing in at 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs), you can take DWARF II anywhere (even in a plane) in its custom-padded bag or backpack. It is a great companion for backyard stargazing, camping and RV living.

I have 3 ‘real’ telescope’s already, but I wanted something easier to carry around for on holidays, I was going to get the Dwarf 3 but the August dispatch time is a little too late for me, so I opted for the Dwarf 2, I’m glad I did, this device surprised me, not expecting too much I aimed at the Sun & was pleasantly surprised by the results, not just clear sunspots but surface details that my other scopes have trouble achieving, I’m just waiting for a clear night sky to try the Moon & nebulas, so far this has been worth getting, hopefully, later in the year I may get the Dwarf 3 too, brilliant, lightweight & small enough to fit in my backpack without giving up valuable space.
