A fast, compact doublet telescope for low to medium magnification wide-field astronomy.
The Bresser Messier AR-102xs is a fast, rich-field telescope with a 460mm focal length.
Though its doublet optics include an ED glass lens, the AR-102xs is not an apochromatic telescope. The ED glass does, however, enhance low-medium magnification wide-field views. Star clusters, such as Pleiades and Double Cluster, are especially good targets and casually panning across the Milky Way is a joy!
