I purchased this bag for a Celestron 102 goto mount refractor, tripod and all the case candy to keep everything in one place. The bag is probably at the limit of portability. Anything larger or containing heavier contents would be difficult or even unmanageable. Two irritating things though..

1) the bag has a centre zip along the top so you have to 'part' the top of the bag to see in it to get your next piece of equipment and
2) the straps holding the tube and tripod inside the bag are buckle type and would benefit from velcro type to ease undoing and securing in the dark.

Other than that, the bag is good in that you can customise the internal partitions, there is adequate padded protection for normal use and there is a shoulder strap.

Excellent well padded bag, can fit a Celestron Evolution mount or tripod in with space to spare. Now have a safe way ro take the mount by car to remote sites or club events. Goes well with the Celestron bag for the 9.25 OTA,
Flo service as good as ever, clouds permitting, off to dark skys at the weekend.
