I bought this cover because if I have a few clear nights in a row, I really don't want to haul my EQR-6, Edge800 and 10kg of counterweights out every night, set it up and polar align it.
I also don't want my scope standing outside 24/7/365. We've had a few clear nights in a row and how awesome to just park the scope, shut down, slip the cover on and call it a night. Even in the hot sun, the scope stays cool.
That evening, slip the cover off, switch it on, go to target, focus and start imaging.
The cover is high quality and just an excellent buy. It was not cheap, but oh, it was so worth it.

I had this telescope cover on a long term loan from a friend whilst he was out of the country, I had it covering an Officina Stellare RH200 AT on a HEQ-5 mount and it was just long enough to cover the spreader plate on the tripod where I had my USB hub, Focus controller and Dew heater controllers mounted, fortunately this equipment stayed dry despite some heavy rain and strong winds, However I would feel more comfortable if the cover was another 100mm -150mm longer and i would give it 5 stars if it was. The rig was set up almost continually from October to June, although i did pack everything away on a couple of occasions during very high winds (i didn't want to risk anything getting blown over), the cover provided perfect protection to my kit for that duration. It is the next item on my shopping list although i might be tempted to get the next size up for a little extra length.

Much better than I expected. Very happy, gives me confidence to leave mount outside until I'm ready to bring it back in. Never risk your expensive equipment with the cheaper ones that will not last. Indoors I even cover telescope to protect from dust too lol.

Arrived in good time and condition , as normal with FLO. Its late spring at the moment and so far to real bad weather. Used it for a classic C8 on NEQ6. Fits fine but lengthwise, I'd have preferred a little longer . It comes just past the leg brace/ eyepiece holder where the powered USB hub and handset sit so expect it will be fine. No ties to secure it with, hence a 4 not a 5. It can get a bit windy where it is to be used so may have to add a strap or something, just in case.

Covers my C8 AVX scope well but It a little short and does not cover the tripod legs too well, hence 4 stars.
Quite expensive for what it is but it is a good quality heavy duty cover that should last for years.
