About this product

Takahashi FS-60Q f/10 Doublet Fluorite Apochromat Refractor, includes 1.7x Extender. 

The FS-60Q is essentially a FS60CB supplied with the optically-matched TKA20595 Extender. The Extender increases the native focal length from 355mm (f5.9) to 600mm (f/10). 

The Extender also provides an impressive 44mm imaging circle with 96% illumination, making the FS60Q an excellent choice for lunar and solar observing and imaging. (Never observe or image the Sun without a suitable solar filter!).
