Takahashi FC-76DS f/7.5 Doublet Fluorite Apochromat Refractor

This version is essentially the same as the FC-76DC but fitted with the larger/heavier Sky-90 2.6” focuser to more easily hold imaging packages, which include DSLRs and CCD cameras with filter wheels.  It also has a sliding dew shield (the FC-76DC' is fixed) and has a larger OD 95mm tube diameter. 

The Takahashi FC-76DCS is an f7.5 doublet fluorite apo' refractor telescope design with a 76mm objective diameter.

The multi-coated fluorite rear lens and eco-glass front element provide maximum light transmission and very high contrast. 

Surprisingly Versatile! 

For astrophotography, an optional dedicated flattener is available that operates at 594mm / f7.8 and produces a nice flat 40mm imaging circle. Or, there is a dedicated reducer that results in 417mm / f5.5 and provides a 36mm imaging circle. 

The FC76DS has a 95mm diameter tube (the FC-76DC is 80mm).
