When I read previous reviews I was a little nervous about stiffness of this rotator. Then when I fitted it to my Feathertouch Focuser (M72 thread) it would barely move. However, upon investigation this is down to the wide flat flange on the focuser - by fitting a Tak M72 extension tube (50mm or 17mm) with a narrower flange it then moves freely and smoothly. True, it doesn't feel as good as the Tak rotator on my FSQ, but it works just fine - highly recommended at the price but don't expect it to be as good as the Tak equivalent (for twice the price). FLO service and fast delivery as excellent as ever.

Sent back two of these and gave up on the third and bough the more expensive Takahashi one instead.. All were way too stiff to be useable. Could be luck of the draw as I have a More Blue M54 CAA and it works perfectly.

Extremely well built, very smooth and firm rotation without any slack. M72-1.0 threads on both sides. Direct replacement for Takahashi Camera Angle Adjuster TKA23200. Metal back distance 35mm.
