Features durable di-electric coated mirror with 99% reflectivity!

This premium quality 2" 90º Star Diagonal features a durable di-electric coated mirror that has undergone a high-reflectivity multi-coating process that enables it to reflect 99% of the gathered starlight for exceptional brightness and contrast! (Most regular diagonals typically reflect 90-95% of light).

The black-anodised metal body features a non-marring compression-ring eyepiece clamp and a tapered 2" nosepiece (less likely to fall out if the focuser's fixing screw loosens). The nosepiece is threaded for 2" filters.

Includes a 2" to 1.25" adapter, so it accepts both 1.25" and 2" eyepieces.

A large, solid and well made diagonal and worth the money. Coupled to 2" 25mm Williams Optics SWAN eyepiece it's just like a picture window!

Recently I bought the StellaLyra 6 inch classical Cassegrain telescope for visual observing and needed a good diagonal to complement it. The StellaMira diagonal feels nice and solid and has well engineered parts with the cap and the 1.25 inch adaptor fitting snugly and being easy to change. The unit is robust and locks in easily with the telescope. With different eyepieces (both 2 inch and 1.25 inch) I have had very clear views of the Moon, stars bright and dim, globular clusters and distant galaxies. Very pleased with this product.
