I needed a longer dovetail to fit to my SkyWatcher 72ED Pro to get good balance when fitted to a AZ-GTI mount with DSLR. This fits the bill perfectly. Very handy to have a longer (countersunk) slot to adjust as needed

I bought this dovetail to give my Celestron Nexstar 8SE a couple of inches extension so that it can clear the base of the Alt-Az mount and point at the zenith.

It works absolutely great, and my almost ten year old SCT has a freedom it has not had before! However, this item wasn't quite enough to achieve this new freedom. Although the dovetail came with a set of bolts and allen keys...they didn't fit! Luckily on my same order, I bought: Astro Essentials 1/4" Socket Head UNC Bolts (x2) just in case, which fitted perfectly and securely. But I also needed a different Allen key out of my my own personal set of Allen keys.

But the dovetail is great quality, highly recommended but add the Astro Essentials bolts to your order just in case the included bolts don't fit for you either. FLO sells two lengths, get both sets in your order.
