StellaLyra 1.25" Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector / ADC

The StellaLyra Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector 'ADC' corrects for atmospheric dispersion (rainbow effect) for sharper images of targets closer to the horizon.

It is particularly recommended for imaging or observing solar system targets positioned under 40-degree altitude above the horizon.

Features include high-quality, fully multicoated, K9 glass prisms and a prism angle of 2.5°, which provides a maximum deviation angle of 5° (so it works well in the UK, Europe and North America).

The camera/eyepiece side has a 1.25" push-fit adapter with 3x thumbscrews and an internal compression ring to protect your camera or eyepiece nosepiece.

The push-fit adapter can be unscrewed to reveal a T-Thread for direct camera connection.

The nosepiece is threaded for 1.25" filters.

It also has a rotating lockable scale for recording optimum settings.

Specifications

  • K9 glass prisms
  • Anti-reflection treatment with less than 0.3% reflection and a range from 350nm to 700nm
  • The inclination of prisms is 2.5° (provides a maximum deviation angle of 5°)
  • Works well in the UK, Europe and North America
