This useful, multi-function eyepiece from Astro Essentials features a laser-etched, double line crosshair reticle with a built-in battery powered red led illuminator.

Most commonly used for:

  • Manual guiding whilst imaging
  • Drift aligning to achieve a more accurate polar alignment which enables longer exposure times without autoguiding
  • Achieving perfect centring of GOTO alignment stars for enhanced GOTO accuracy
  • With a finder/guider to create a high quality guide scope

NOTE: Requires 3x LR54 batteries.

Great eyepiece to centre my objects

Brilliant little eyepiece, that helps me to make sure I've centred the object when doing my alignment routine with my AzGti. The led is dimmable and lovely and sharp when focused correctly. It says it wouldn't come with the batteries needed but they were supplied too. Great service from FLO and super fast delivery. My number one astronomy retailer.
