Absolutely fantastic piece of kit!
After countless emails with FLO about if the mount would be suitable for my needs at a beginner level into astrophotography, I am more than happy and can't thank them enough for their help.

As an alt-az mount this isn't best suited for the astrophotographer, but with an eq wedge and a quick firmware update from the sky-watcher website I can safely say turns this small mount into an equilateral weapon! It is more than adequate for my DSLR with a sizeable lense and I have even had a celestron 114 OTA (1000mm/fl, 25mm/ep) mounted with a counter weight, both setups tracked the moon flawlessly for over an hour with no adjustments. This was after a good aim at polaris and 3 star alignment in the synscan pro app.

I bought the mount for my de-forked Meade ETX 90RA. It is now mounted on the Sky-watcher AZ Mount extension tube and tripod - and now waiting for clear skies!

I'm new to the world of astrophotography so I thought this mount would help me navigate the night sky. Didn’t have any problem connecting my iPhone to the mount. I haven’t used it outside yet as its a Christmas present.
I would give 6 Stars If FLO hadn’t included CLOUDS 😢😭

I've been using this for almost a year, it's a fantastic little budget mount. I've had no issues with it. It tracks well for astrophotography. With my set up I can get around 2 minute exposures without guiding pretty easily. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get into astrophotography with a short focal length scope

I'm quite new to the world of astronomy so I thought this mount would help me navigate the night sky, Came very well packaged and fast too . Put together really easily so happy so far. What fell short for me and I know the more savvy of you out there would of overcome it but I
struggled. My IPHONE would not connect to the mount no matter what I tried so I ended up buying a tablet so that increased my spending , Tablet connected first go v happy, Took the mount out that night and it wouldn't align not the mounts fault but the lack of written instructions was terrible so I was guessing. I then had to contact FLO quick response v happy I also YouTubed the mount to death and it was there where I realised where I was going wrong , same info from the superb people at FLO Confirmed what I was doing wrong. Next night I cracked it and it works brilliant. What was also suggested on YouTube was the mount doesn't on occasions work properly if using the battery method and to get a power pack to run the mount , I had one of these already fitted it and yeah much better than the battery pack in my opinion. So for me the one let down for me was the lack of written instructions that came with the mount rather than having to go back to FLO or the net to hunt the manual and videos to help align it up , my advice for novices like myself use the brightest star alignment not looked back since. Used it lots now and very happy. Thank you FLO for bearing with me we eventually got there

was easy to setup and great in light polluted skies like in london. finally was able to find dso's with ease

I have not used it outside yet due to clouds and the very light evenings. But on a quick test indoors it's working fine. This is my second AzGti mount as I have one on eq mode for imaging. This will be for visual and lunar, planetary imaging. I just love these mounts and are so portable and compact. They really do open up the world of astronomy with easy operation using the smartphone app. I cannot recommend this mount enough to people who are wanting to get into astronomy. Buy today and you won't be disappointed at all. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
