Ordered alongside my Sky-watcher Heritage 90 Virtuoso to fully upgrade to a Go-To mount, works superbly via the app on my Android Phone. A good supply of clouds arrived at the same time, unfortunately. Easy to setup, only used briefly once, to setup so look forward to a full session soon. Excellent service as usual from FLO. UK to Thailand 5 days. Product works well with SkyTrack to track satellites via WIFI on my PC together with Bluestacks emulating Android
running ASIAIR App via Ethernet. ASIAIR controls the cameras Skytrack the mount . Can;t wait for clear skies.

Just getting into astro photography but have been struggling with the wired syncscan. This wireless option has made my life far easier, so now I operate my EQ5 from all those floating cables. No problem with connection on an iphone 13 max pro. It even worked from indoors where I have my photo camera connected wireless to my laptop. Distance is around 5meters.

Received yesterday and tried setting up ,no WiFi found for syskan r ... eventually network ESP arrived won't let me join ,so retried my old syscan control works first time .WiFi dongle re inserted...no signal ..need to think about a work around ,maybe a software update

A very convenient and useful thing that allows you to use the mount with your phone and application, which saves valuable time during night observations.

The adapter works with AZ-EQ5 Pro perfectly as advertised.
My iPhone Wi-Fi found and connected with it immediately.
Later, Skyscan Pro app connected and aligned using it without any issues.
Later, I opened Skysafari without closing Skyscan Pro. In the Skysafari menu, I selected settings, and then TELESCOPE setup, and then SkyWatcher SynScanLink and clicked DONE. It connected immediately. No IP address or port is necessary. It was a pleasure watching the mount slewing to the object I selected on the Skysafari screen.
The only limitation is, it uses the socket of the hand controller on the mount and therefore you cannot use both together at the same time. You have to make a choice.
Being curious, I tried to plug out the wifi adapter and connect hand controller during the operation after completing initial alignment with wifi adapter, I entered all the required information in the hand controller and skipped alignment. I noticed that the slewing buttons were functional. I did not test it any more and switched it off.
I highly recommend this Wi-Fi adapter.

Got for an eq5. Can't get it to work with sky safari. Works with skywatcher app but does drop out and you need to reconnect.
