Extension cable high quality. Will make all the difference to using the handset. Delivery very fast.

The hand controller extension lead is a great addition that allows me to control the telescope from a much more convenient position. If you are buying one I would suggest the following: don't try and fit in the dark its almost impossible, get someone with very small fingers to help or use some tweezers or snipe nosed pliers as its a very tight space to work in on the Nexstar SE, make sure you note which way the original cable plugs in to make life easier. Overall very pleased I bought this cable.

This rightly puts Celestron to shame. The Starsense handset cable is stiff short and rubbish considering the price. Great if your 3ft tall....
This extension is first rate giving plenty of mobility and room to move away from my AZ Eq6 while it does its thing with the Newt.
Expensive.... Perhaps but it makes my kit so much easier to use. Great.

The CGX-L remote is plugged at on the mount, "south" side.
If you want to go to the "north" side, the cable is really short and I find that I am exerting a lot of tension on the socket(s).

This extension is also pricey, but it does the job. I can go nearly twice around the mount now.
Granted that could be another issue now, but a too long cable is much better than a too short cable.

Bought a Celestron Focuser Motor, which came with a short coiled cable. In some positions in use on CGEPro the cable pulled tight on the connectors but this extension cable solved the issue. It's a bit lengthy for this use but it's easy to coil and clip up. I also have one on my handset and it makes life much easier.
