Sky-Watcher Explorer-130PS with AZ5 Deluxe Mount - Ideal for Grab-and-Go!

With a useful 130mm aperture and high-quality parabolic primary mirror, the Eplorer-130PS is a capable all-rounder for observation of the Moon, bright planets, nebulae, galaxies and star clusters.

The AZ5 Alt-Azimuth mount is quick to set up and easy to use, so it is an excellent choice for visual astronomy and daytime terrestrial observations.

Constructed from cast aluminium and designed to attach small telescopes up to 5kg in weight via a regular 45mm dovetail bar.

The aluminium telescopic tripod legs can be extended and clamped in any position via integral leg locks.

It is supplied with two flexible slow-motion cables, one for vertical and one for horizontal, for smooth, precise control. It can also be moved manually around each axis for rapid panning and elevation adjustments - easily track distant moving targets.

The telescope also includes a useful red dot finderscope.

Amazing value

I purchased this for the sw az5 mount & tripod which usually costs £260. This package is £250 in which I recieved an extension which i needed for my az gti x mount (costs about £30) and a sw 130mm parabolic newt.
This means, I saved £40 & got a extension and a great 130mm newt which I decided to use along with my 80/560mm apo , 127mm mak which all work great on the mount.
I did swap the tripod for an existing sturdier tripod I had with my sw gti x mount as it allows for greater payload.
Great value and also appreciate the help from the team at FLo as always with numerous questions and helpful answers, whenever I purchase a product.
