The item received is much better than the one in the photo as its a QHY item made in red anodised aluminium that screws neatly into the mount, it's very low profile so the mount still fits in the iOptron travel case which is a bonus.

I love my polemaster and it is a huge timesaver. It gives accurate and easy polar alignment. This adapter fits the polemaster to the cem60 perfectly.

I love it so much I bought an adapter for my star adventurer and that is where the problems start. The polemaster adapters seem to come in 2 parts. The first part attaches to the polemaster and the second to the mount. The polemaster part is quite fiddly and requires three screws to fit.

The polemaster part on the cem60 adapter is completely different to the SA so the polemaster cannot be transferred between systems easily. I understand the mount adapter needs to be bespoke to the mount type, but I don't understand the variation in the adapter which fits to the polemaster, this makes transferring between mounts a nightmare especially if you were somewhere remote and dark. Please standardize the part which fits the polemaster...
