Model: Skywatcher_PanaView-1Part Number: 20185
These 2” PanaView 5-element eyepieces, with their impressive high-contrast super-wide views, are ideal for low-power, deep-sky observing.
Available in focal lengths of 26mm, 32mm & 38mm, with apparent fields of view of 70° and eye relief of 20mm, 24mm & 28mm, respectively.
I was looking for a reasonably priced, reasonable field of view 2" eyepiece to give me some more low power options on my telescopes. I don't have the budget for the higher end brands but I'm very pleased so far. The design and overall quality of the EP is very good. Again first class service from FLO as usual.
From start to finish, you are kept up to date with purchases. It really is a pleasure to shop with FLO.I would definitely recommend.
As a beginner, I hadn't realised what I was missing out on from the more zoomed-in eyepieces. It's nice to be able to see things in perspective. Whilst I do not have much to compare it with it seems to be a very reasonable eyepiece for the cost.
really happy with service and item
Used this in my SW BD 150mm Maksutov..thinking it would be used as a finder EP ONLY..WELL I was wrong its MUCH better than that so EASY to look through with glasses, and sharp aross near all the field at f13 with 2 inch diagonal . TWIST UP eyeguard.....very pleasing indeed..would give it 5 stars except some light fall of at edges..but 1.4 DEGREES IN A MAK..WOW..Who needs a finder!
I bought this eyepiece to work with a red dot finder on my 12" Dobsonian, and am happy to say that together they give the quickest, most hassle-free finding that I have ever used. However, the eyepiece is not edge to edge sharp. More than about two thirds from the centre, stars are noticeably blurred. So if you are looking for crisp panoramic views of the milky way, unfortunately you may have to dig a bit deeper into you pocket!
