This worked well for me for about a year and a half, then it suddenly stopped working. No visible signs of damage. I'm glad I still held on to my old SkyWatcher cable for backup.

Why a review just for a cable? Everyone who has standard power cables and uses them at low temperatures knows about the fact that they can get rather stiff and uncomfortable to use. A well made silicone cable such as the Lynx Astro for recent SkyWatcher mounts remains very flexible and therefore does not affect tracking or balance of the mount.
FLO delivered it very fast and safely packed. Highly recommendable!

Bought as an upgrade to the one supplied with the SW AZ-EQ6 mount. Much higher quality and hopefully will provide many years of reliability. Expensive but highly recommended.

Was a bit dubious about getting this at first, but the cable that comes with the EQ6-R is not unlike a sat nav 12v cable in strength, this one is strong and looks like it's going to last a while.

I got this cable as an upgrade for my AZ-EQ6 and it was well worth it. I am a huge fan of Lynx silicone cables and i cannot recommend them enough. They are really well made, very high quality and they stay beautifully soft and kink-free even in sub-zero conditions. I got a cigarette plug on mine and while these can be temperamental, Lynx connector has been flawless. I have had no connection issues.
Pair this cable with a Nevada psu and you will have flawless supply of power to your mount that will just work.

The cable is stronger, tighter fit with a feel of stability. If you can change to this one as I believe this will withstand the cold as well!!

Yes, it's repeating the below somewhat, but the 5m ring tongue connection for my AZEQ6 is spot on. I guess I didn't need this to be silicone cable given the permanent nature of an observatory setup, but you know, if all the cables we use were silicone, there'd be no fighting with twists and kinks that always manifest themselves in normal cables. Even with rubber cable guards across the floor, the LynxAstro silcone cable would just sit where you wanted, whereas the other cables have minds of their own!
It was a good buy in every way.

I bought this 5m silicon cable to replace the thin, cheaper cable that came to power my new mount. Very pleased I did because it looks great, it’s made to high standards and at a reasonable price. Thanks to FLO for the super service they provide and fast next day delivery.

This is an excellent power cable. Heavy duty feel along with quality. I opted for the connector spades as I have the 13.8v power supply. The spades are correct for polarity, that is connect red to red, black to black when connecting to your eq6.

Seems much more robust than the original power cable. I tried it and it works.
