Helios LightQuest-HR 16x70 observation binoculars combine top features with high performance!
Features include high-index BaK-4, shock-resistant, caged prisms and a fully broadband multi-coated optical system in a durable magnesium body.
The high-resolution optical system features high-transmission lens and prism coatings that enable high light throughput, equal to or exceeding 90%. The lens coatings have an extremely low level of reflectivity, ensuring the maximum amount of precious light is provided at the eyepiece. Images delivered are vibrant, very flat edge-to-edge, and virtually distortion-free.
They are fully waterproof (IPX7 standard, 1m depth for 30 minutes) and nitrogen-filled for clear, fog-free operation. They have individual eyepiece (IF) focusing and are designed for medium-to-long-range terrestrial and astronomical observations.
The body material is magnesium alloy, making the binoculars remarkably light for an instrument of this size, without sacrificing strength or rigidity The body is covered in stylish, hard- maintaining a textured leatherette.
The eyepiece design (11X70: 5 elements/4 groups, 16X70: 8 elements/ 5 groups) features oversized eye lens elements for comfortable viewing. Fold-down rubber eyecups are provided for spectacle-wearers.
Supplied with objective lens caps, an eyepiece rainguard, a neoprene neck-strap, a heavy-duty tripod adaptor (attached to the binocular in the photo), and a durable padded fabric carrying case.
