I've been searching for some lightweight binos with excellent quality optics that I could use in a variety of situations. With the exception of my Vortex HD 10x50's, the rest of my binos are porro monsters (Orion MG-9x63 and Helios-15x70) which are excellent for astro views but not for birding/hiking/general travel etc (just too bulky/heavy for an entire day carry) I was pondering 8x42s, but the combination of lightweight/compact size, good eye relief, wide FOV and ED glass won me over. Im sure the 8x42's are equally excellent for the slight increased cost, but for the price point on these 8x32's I was sold. I'm not a glasses wearer, but IMO these have good eye relief, good wide FOV, virtually no CA and sharp to the edge. As usual, first class service from FLO. Got them (8x42) for few days outside and I can tell that the optic is supreme, especially in dark conditions! Few reflections in high contrast lights but it doesn't bother. Feel pretty satisfied for the price.
