Model: ae_60mm_guide_scope
Works well with most short-medium focal length imaging systems.
It has a long focus range, so is compatible with pretty-much all guide cameras.
Guide cameras can push-fit into the 1.25-inch eyepiece clamp or screw in via the integrated M42 / T thread.
Its wide field and fast f/4 focal-ratio ensure you will have no difficulty finding a suitable star to guide by.
Supplied with 3-point adjustment rings that enable accurate alignment with your imaging scope and a 34mm dovetail mounting bar that fits Synta/Sky-Watcher-Style finder shoes or clamps.
Weighs around 700 grams.
Having failed to get an OAG to work on my SkyMak150 Pro Ian suggested the problem was low light in the edges from the Mak and suggested this as an alternative solution with the long FL of 1800mm of the MAk150. Very prompt refund on the OAG and prompt delivery of the new guidescope. Easy to set up and the focussing was very easy. The scope is matched with my ZWO 120MM camera and I get many stars to use for guiding in PHD2. The helical focusser is smooth and gets sharp stars. Much better stars than with the30mm ZWO 120 scope I had before trying out the OAG option. Excellent service and advice, as is the norm, from FLO.
