The HEM27 comes with a comparatively small saddle for a 30 lb scope. While it is a dual saddle, it has a single clamp and screw. I found this Dual Clamp Dual Saddle (Losmandy and Vixen) ready made to clamp into the HEM27 Vixen saddle. It improves on the HEM 27 with by providing a larger saddle area and dual clamping mechanism and it raises the Dec Saddle an additional inch above the mount, making it easier to access the HEM Sadde USB and power plugs. Ordered on Friday and received in the US on Monday. FLO is an excellent resource for astronomy gear.
