This Celestron universal mounting plate attaches to the mounting platform of your CG-5 or AVX equatorial mount.

Enables you to attach a variety of accessories including telescope rings, spotting scopes and cameras.

Also suitable for other Celestron, Vixen, Orion, etc mounts that accept Vixen-type saddles.

Having used this on my 130P DS, with a overall length of 10", it fits well.

The quality is similar to a Skywatcher ED80 DS Pro dovetail when supplied new, with the added feature of numerous holes to suit your configuration.

The dovetail is nice & chunky & certainly a cheaper alternative to an ADM Vixen dovetail. The finishing touch a Celestron Logo is presented on both ends of the dovetail.

I give it only 4 Stars due to Celestron not supplying any screws with it, which the ADM's do.
