...for a second scope. Does the job nicely.

My first one has a Baader shoe fitted.
This second one has the Astro Essentials Advanced Finder Shoe, which I find to be more "planted" compared to the Baader with its curvy base.

Easy to not bother reviewing the "insignificant things" when you've spent so much on astro over 30 years!
But the small stuff matters. This clamps securely and provides a good base for other things.

FLO helped me work out exactly how to mount a guidescope onto my small refractor using some rings and a dovetail. Works well, very happy

I cannot praise the staff and company enough for the help they have been.
I ordered what I thought was the correct clamp to mount my guide scope to my dovetail bar, I was so very wrong.
However when I contacted FLO I was given great advice about the correct items that I needed and a return was organised straight away. I received my new items and refund on the Monday after having raised the issue on the Friday.
Good value and spectacular customer services, FLO will be my first port of call when ever I need anything in the future.

Quality is not bad for the price but grip could be better. It is fine on my ADM dovetail but less secure on my StellaMira dovetail, and is difficult to tighten fully and prone to allow tilting of the finder.

This does exactly what I wanted it to do and as usual arrived in the blink of an eye from FLO. I find the website very helpful as FLO list associated items which you may need in addition to the item you order. This can save a lot of time
hunting down exactly what you need. I am never disappointed with the service provided by FLO and would highly recommend them as the first place to go for your astronomy needs.

Having fitted my Quattro 150P with an ADM Vixen Dovetail for better balancing, I wanted something where I could mount my Mini PC. I don't know the problems what other people have had. But the clamp can be completely opened then fitted over an ADM Dovetail securely., without it being ran in from one side of the dovetail.

I’ve had quite a few Astro Essentials products but this is the first disappointing one! Functionally the clamp will work fine but it looks like it was an Apprentice project or something, it’s 1.5mm out of square both ends and the milling marks look pretty rough. Still it will work!

This is a handy little gadget. I’m using it in conjunction with a finder shoe to attach an ASIAIR Pro to the underside of a dovetail bar that’s mounting a Redcat 51. It works very well. The only reason for knocking off a star is that on my William Optics dovetail bars the grip it provides isn’t as tight as it could be. Not too much of an issue as the ASIAIR is quite light. I resolved this by removing the springs that sit between the jaw and base to give the screws further inward travel. On other makes of dovetail bar it seems secure. Recommended.
