This dovetail plate includes plenty of connection points and gives you many options to attach tube rings, guiding rings, and cameras. The plate also includes an M4 holes at the front and back end for adding an M4 bolt to prevent the dovetail sliding out of your saddle clamp which prevents accidental slippage.

The premium plate is made from lightweight aluminium alloy with an attractive scratch-resistant red anodised finish.

With its wide choice of attachment holes these Askar dovetails allow for a wide variety of attachment choices. In addition the two central slots allow for fine tuning of tube ring spacing.

I bought the Askar 30mm dovetail for my StellaMira 125ED f7.8. I wanted a longer one than provided, and a better quality one. It also has a slot along it's length, as well as other holes, which means you can position your rings anywhere along it's length. Much more adaptable than a dovetail with holes only at either end.
Very well made, a quality item.

I recently pitched this dovetail to locate/balance a Takahashi Mewlon 130C. I needed a longer rail to fit a forward counterweight below/forward to offset a Moonlite CR2 to the visual back of the OTA. Whilst not bulky, the Askar dovetail is sturdy and lightweight and does not overburden the all up weight of my rig. Lovely quality and the usual speedy and high quality service from FLO.
